ICYMI: Chatham County's E911 Center transitioned to a new Computer Aided Dispatch system last Tuesday. Following the transition, we heard from some of our public safety-focused agencies around Chatham County, who highlighted how the new system benefits their departments. “Two huge components of safety for the police officers and first responders in general: more information, which is huge, and at the end of the day they’re getting it in real time,” said Garden City Police Chief Gilbert Ballard.
