Mixing dub is alchemy as far as I’m concerned. Transmutation of a given set of ingredients, cultivated in the rich, black, fertile soil of the mixing desk, watered with the springs, tapes and valves, whilst elements are muted and unmuted (transmuted) and brought forth into a new living entity.
