Mike Meekin on a short strip today. Cool engine/prop audio. Big tussocks on both ends of this strip. The sort of tussocks that can lead to grass stains and gravel rash on your propeller if you don’t get off the brakes. But it’s pretty hard to get off the brakes when you need them real bad, but your tail is light. It’s a real catch 22. Might be silly, but sometimes I end up lightly braking with the rpm spooled up and the stick in my lap. My hope is that if the tire falls in a hole and I stop roll
