This was the Alexander Dennis Enviro200 development vehicle with autonomous drive being demonstrated this morning at Stagecoach's Sharston depot in Manchester where it goes around on a loop by way of the fuelling area and bus wash. The driver is there for safety but the bus steers itself, avoiding all obstacles. Five production vehicles will go into service next year on the Forth Road Bridge route between Fife and Edinburgh.
