Clean-up efforts are already underway in Jamaican coastal areas after Hurricane Melissa hit on Tuesday. The fishing communities near Kingston missed the eye of the storm when Melissa made landfall, but fishermen say their homes and equipment have been badly damaged. Some are worried it will take at least a month before the sea calms down enough to go back out to fish.
