Flood control releases are not just an impressive display; they provide incredible benefits to California communities. Yesterday, DWR began required flood control releases using Oroville Dam’s main spillway. However, with reduced runoff levels and drier conditions in the forecast, DWR will be reducing outflows through the coming week.
