Dear diary: So many people have told me, “Please let me know how I can help. Whatever you need, I’ve got you.” And then they disappear the moment I say I need help coming up with a way to cover my chair. That’s exactly why I was scared to fundraise in the first place. Not to mention I religiously ate 10 pancakes with peanut butter every single morning before school, two plates of pizza every day at lunch, snacks in between and a sandwich right before drill practice. My body just doesn’t absorb nutrients like it should… I was VERY unwell. 😅 Still am. Keeping up that amount of activity was the only way I could keep any weight on my body because I was maintaining the muscle I had since I was a small child.
