Opened May of 1955, Slatington Airport serviced small private aircraft. It was not affiliated with the Civil Air Patrol it seems, but was operated as a privately owned business by Roger Sell, of Schnecksville. Flying lessons, aircraft repairs and maintenance, and aircraft storage (hangars) and fueling completed the array of services on offer.
