Last Friday, PPPD Officers observed children in a vehicle without proper car seats and stopped the vehicle. During the traffic stop, officers learned the drivers/parents did not have access to car seats. The officers took it upon themselves to round up donated car and booster seats to give to the families so they could transport their children safely! Just a reminder that children must be in a car seat until they reach age 4 and 40 pounds, and in a booster seat until they reach age 8, 80 pounds,
