Griffith Observatory is hosting a public observing event and a live online broadcast for the partial eclipse of the Sun in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 14, from 8:00-11:00 a.m., PDT. Weather permitting, several solar telescopes will be staffed by Observatory staff and local volunteers to provide visitors with safe viewing opportunities of the Sun during the partial solar eclipse.
