Every time I post videos addressing the dangers to dogs’ paws - burning hot pavement, ice salt, broken glass, needles, chemicals, foxtails, thorns, etc - I get comments that dogs’ paws are made for those elements. A dog’s paws are not indestructible. They feel pain, heat, cold… even if they may not show it. A summer reminder: if you have to walk your dog on hot pavement, check it first. If it’s too hot for you it’s too hot for your dog and they should not be walking on it with bare paws. Winston
