NGC 1893 - a young star-forming region about 12,000 light-years away in Auriga, where powerful radiation from newly formed massive stars carves pillars and cavities out of the surrounding gas. The cluster inside this nebula contains hot, bright O-type stars whose intense ultraviolet light shapes the dark globules and triggers new waves of star formation. Long, sculpted dust structures point back toward these stars, showing how their energy is reshaping the entire cloud over time. Thank you, @ast
