Silk poi really changes how I spin, where I can usually get away with imperfect planes on regular poi, these have so much less forgiveness. I struggle with spinning poi around others or even just practicing alone in a park. I feel out of place all the time. I'm so grateful to be part of a flow community that helps challenge me to keep improving but I still am not comfortable being the only one spinning poi at events.
