Just before 2:30 p.m. today, the Modesto Fire Department was dispatched to a rescue at Cost Less Food Company on N. Yosemite Avenue in Oakdale for a roof collapse. Firefighters arrived alongside Oakdale Police and Oak Valley Ambulance to find an approximate 20’x20’ roof collapse in the front right corner of the store. Two people were in the immediate area of the collapse when it occurred, but both were safely removed from the area prior to our arrival. One person was transported by ambulance to
