BLUES is GOAT genre 🤩 The blues scale: R - m3 - P4 - A4(blue note) - P5 - m7 This scale is very unique because it has a minor third, but it’s usually applied over a Dom7 chord, such at F7 (which has a Major 3). The Augmented 4th (blue note) is a very interesting note that can be used as a passing tone but sometimes even as a main target for the creation of dissonance.
