Recreating the first Sydney–Parramatta journey from 1855, steam locomotive 3526 ran side-by-side with Vintage Electric Set F1 and the newest Mariyung intercity train. A powerful reminder of 170 years of progress, innovation and rail heritage in action. 🥳 As part of the Transport Heritage Grants Program, THNSW has been proud to fund two publications from the Australian Railway Historical Society in 2023 and 2024. 📕 "Railways to the Riverina" and "Corowa to Kywong", written by ARHS life member Neville Pollard, mark important social, technological and political history in the Riverina area of NSW.
